Description
Trapezoidal-shaped piece of wood. Bottom edge is smooth and straight. The other three sides are not and appear to have been broken off. There is a message written in chalk on each side of the board. Much of the writing is very faint and hard to read. There is a knothole in the upper center and a split in one corner. Five black tacks have been stuck in each side -- one in each corner and one in center.
Labels: One side of the board reads "Its 5 mins. pass 11 o'clock dear Agnes and children I'm sorry we had to go this [sic] God bless you all Emil with lots kisse [sic]"
The other side reads: Frank Painick Fred get out John Sudar and Joki We try to do our best but we couldn't (Note: "Joki" was Walter Joki. The only "Fred" was Fred Rasborscheck.)
