Description
Molded copper griffin. Parts of griffin body are soldered together. His head has an open mouth with fangs and tongue rolling out. Scale-like feathers and wings are in relief, created by molding of copper. No manufacturer's marks on inside or outside of griffin. Paint chips indicate it was painted at least three times.
Griffin is one of a pair that was used on either side of the front entrance to Homer Block, 105 Clarke, Helena, MT.
