Little Wolf and Snow, Washoe Tribe.
Title
Little Wolf and Snow, Washoe Tribe.
Description
Two young children (possibly members of the Washoe Indian tribe, the Oto Indian Tribe, or the Crow Indian tribe) stand together outdoors. The boy, possibly Little Wolf (aka Young Little Wolf), wears pants and a shirt decorated with fringe and beadwork. Beside him is a young girl, possibly Snow, wearing a dress decorated with elk teeth, a long leather belt, and shell necklaces. The Bureau of American Ethnology identities the children as 'Oto Indians (identification uncertain)'. The postcard of the image has 'Little Wolf and Snow, Washoe Tribe 5803' printed on it. Information with the photograph: 'Two little Crows, (children of Takes Among the Enemy).'
