Mock-up of a Trench Dugout

Image of exhibition installation that mimics a trench dugout. Seated mannequin is dressed in World War I-era uniform, wool puttees, and boots with bagged gas mask around neck and wool fingerless gloves and sewing kit on lap. Mannequin sits on ammunition crates next to a table and bed roll. Various items on and around table include helmet, toiletry kit, emergency ration can, hard tack can, shaving mirror, flashlight, mess kit with silverware, tobacco pouch, cigarette in wooden holder, canteen, leather gaiters, and satchel.
