Crow women pounding chokecherries.
Description
Four women, probably members of the Crow Indian tribe, sit on the ground around a blanket filled with a substance, possibly chokecherries for making pemmican. The women wear check and plaid fabric dresses and use hatchets to pound the berries. A bucket is next to the women and a fence and tent are behind them.
