Description

An unidentified woman and girl, possibly Crow Indians or Blackfeet Indians, outdoors at a woodpile. The girl is standing and wears a striped blanket over her clothes. The woman is seated on the logs and wears a figured fabric dress, a belt, and a plaid blanket over her shoulders. Behind them are a field and hills. Printed on the photograph is 'Goff, Fort Custer, Montana.' Note: Bud Lake identified the girl and woman as members of either the Crow or Blackfoot tribes.
